FAQ

FREQUENTLY ASK QUESTIONS:

How much does community group cost?

NOTHING! You may benefit from purchasing a book that the sessions may be based on, but you can attend and get a lot out of each session without purchasing any resources.

What exactly do we do in a group?

That really depends on who will be facilitating the group that night. Our goal is to provide sessions that are informative and thought-provoking.

What should I bring?

A Bible and an open mind. Actually, the Bible is optional since we will have some extras at each session just in case you couldn’t bring yours. You could also bring a friend!

Is child care available?

Check with your group faciliator. We have found generally that it is much more effective for parents to use their typical child care service rather than one provided by WCC.

Can I bring my children?

While we LOVE children at WCC, Groups are designed age appropriately, so encourage your child to join a group for their age range, but an adult group may contain content not suitable for children.

How long does a group typically last?

Typically, a group runs between 1- 1.5 hours. It is important that you are on time. If a sessions says it starts at 6:00pm, then it will start at 6:00pm!

Will food and drinks be provided?

Your faciliator or host will determine if you have drinks and/or food and possibly ask to set up a rotation, so check with your group faciliator.
